This Privacy Policy explains how StreamNova ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Device Identifier

To provide the free watch-time service and prevent abuse, we generate and store an anonymous device ID. On iOS this is the identifierForVendor; on Android it is the ANDROID_ID. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal data.

Watch-Time Usage

We record how many seconds of content you have watched and how many rewarded-ad rewards you have earned, keyed to your anonymous device ID. This data is stored in our Cloudflare D1 database solely to calculate your remaining watch-time balance and enforce fair-use limits.

Playlist Data

Any playlists (M3U URLs, Xtream credentials, channel lists) you add are stored locally on your device only using AsyncStorage. We do not upload or have access to your playlist content or stream URLs.

Subscription Status

If you purchase a Premium subscription, your purchase receipt is verified through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store payment details. Subscription state (active/inactive) is stored locally on your device.

Advertising

StreamNova uses Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers do not see any ads.

2. How We Use Information

• To calculate and display your remaining watch-time balance.
• To enforce per-device limits on rewarded-ad usage (maximum 4 ads/hour, 5 hours/day).
• To prevent abuse of the free trial system.
• To serve contextual advertisements to free-tier users via AdMob.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with:

• Cloudflare — our backend infrastructure provider (anonymous watch-time records).
• Google AdMob — for ad delivery to free-tier users.
• Apple / Google — for subscription purchase validation.

4. Data Retention

Watch-time and reward records associated with your device ID are retained for as long as you use the app. You may request deletion by contacting us at the address below.

5. Children's Privacy

StreamNova is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

All communications between the app and our backend are signed with a SHA-256 HMAC and transmitted over HTTPS. We implement timestamp validation to prevent replay attacks.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about your device. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Third-Party Content

StreamNova does not provide, host, or control any video content. All streams originate from playlists that users supply. We have no visibility into or responsibility for third-party stream content.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
